From the perspective of environmental protection, the pollution of lead-acid battery is unavoidable. Lead plate and sulfuric acid solution of lead-acid battery are difficult to degrade pollutants. The safety of lead-acid battery and the influence of battery attenuation on the endurance mileage are also a headache for the stadium. Take two golf carts for example. The common golf cart on the market is equipped with six 175ah lead-acid batteries. The new car equipped with this kind of battery has a full charge range of about 40km. However, with the increase of the service time of the ball car, the battery's charge and discharge capacity will become worse and worse, even less than 10km. The reduction of endurance mileage will greatly affect the normal use of the ball car. These problems of lead-acid battery can not be solved from the technical point of view. However, the emergence of lithium battery is a bright future. Using lithium battery instead of lead-acid power battery has become the inevitable direction of development.
As an enterprise engaged in the research and development, production and sales of golf carts for many years, the R & D team of RJ group has made in-depth research on lithium battery. Here, we share some knowledge and briefly introduce the lithium battery technology and advantages of the ball car.
Introduction to the types and characteristics of lithium batteries:
At present, lithium batteries can be divided into three types: lithium manganate, lithium iron phosphate and ternary materials.
Lithium manganate battery
Lithium manganate is one of the promising cathode materials for lithium ion. Compared with the traditional cathode materials such as lithium cobaltic acid, lithium manganate has many advantages, such as rich resources, low cost, no pollution, good safety and high rate performance. It is an ideal cathode material for power battery, but its poor cycle performance and electrochemical stability greatly limit its industrialization.
Lithium iron phosphate battery
Lithium iron phosphate as the material of lithium power battery has appeared in recent years. The development time of large capacity lithium iron phosphate battery in China is about 2005. Its safety performance and cycle life can not be compared with other materials, which are also the most important technical indicators of power battery. The cycle life of single cell 1C is 2000 times. The overcharge voltage of a single battery is 30V, which is non combustible and non explosive. Large capacity lithium-ion batteries made of lithium iron phosphate cathode materials are easy to be used in series to meet the needs of frequent charging and discharging of electric vehicles.
Lithium iron phosphate has the advantages of non-toxic, pollution-free, good safety performance, wide sources of raw materials, low price, long life and so on. It is an ideal cathode material for a new generation of lithium-ion batteries.
