RJ Charger for Forklift Batteries

Q1: How does your 24V lithium battery ensure a seamless mechanical fit for different long-tail brands?
Answer: We don’t expect you to modify your forklift. Based on standard North American BCI (Battery Council International) layouts, we have reverse-engineered the compartment dimensions of the top 20 global forklift brands. By leveraging our modular cell design inside a customizable, heavy-duty steel enclosure, we offer distinct chassis footprints—including the 6.50-inch Narrow profile for the Toyota 8HBW23/Crown WP3000 and the 8.69-inch Standard profile for Raymond/Yale. Our batteries are 100% plug-and-play drop-in replacements.
Q2: Lead-acid batteries are much heavier than lithium. If your lithium pack is too light, will it cause the drive wheel to spin or make the forklift tip over?
Answer: This is a critical safety factor that standard lithium suppliers often overlook, but we have solved it entirely. Every forklift requires a strict Minimum Battery Weight to maintain proper steering traction and vehicle balance. Our 24V retrofit packs feature integrated internal cast iron/steel counterweights welded securely within an ultra-thick steel box. We guarantee that the final weight of our assembly strictly meets or exceeds the forklift OEM's minimum weight specification, preventing tire slippage and ensuring maximum lifting stability.
Q3: Walkie pallet jacks have very tight hood clearances. Will your battery box interfere with the factory cover, latches, or hinges?
Answer: Not at all. While old-school lead-acid packs often scrape against the hood at a maximum height of 23.25 inches, our high-density LiFePO4 cells allow us to compress the height of the core module. We intentionally cap our outer steel enclosures at a max height of 22.50 inches, providing a comfortable 0.75-inch safety clearance. This ensures that the factory hoods and latches on high-volume trucks like the Crown WP3000 or Hyster W40Z close perfectly without any modifications.
Q4: Long-tail fleets consist of both older "dumb" trucks and newer intelligent forklifts. How does your battery handle different communication requirements?
Answer: Our proprietary smart BMS (Battery Management System) is engineered for universal compatibility and supports dual-mode operations:
Legacy/Analogue Mode: For older forklifts that only require raw positive/negative DC power, our pack acts as a robust, direct-discharge power source.
CAN-Bus Communication Mode: For modern intelligent fleets (such as newer Toyota, Jungheinrich, or Linde trucks) that require a communication handshake, our BMS comes pre-programmed with multi-protocol compatibility. It communicates seamlessly with the vehicle's controller to display accurate State of Charge (SOC) on the dashboard without triggering fault codes or locking out the machine.
Q5: What standard connector and cable exit configurations do you provide? Can we customize them?
Answer: By default, our 24V series utilizes industry-standard Anderson SB175 or SB350 connectors in standard voltage-keyed colors (Gray or Red). Cable exits are fully optimized based on the target vehicle profile—supporting standard A-position (top left exit), B-position (centered layout), or custom lengths and orientations to match your specific long-tail fleet requirements perfectly.
Q6: Why should a fleet manager pay a premium to replace a working 24V lead-acid battery with your lithium pack? What is the actual ROI?
Answer: While lead-acid seems cheaper upfront, it carries massive hidden operational costs. Our 24V LiFePO4 packs deliver a complete return on investment (ROI) within 18 to 24 months through three main pillars:
Zero Maintenance: No watering, no acid spills, no dedicated equalization charging rooms, and zero labor costs spent on battery upkeep.
Opportunity Charging: Lead-acid requires 8 hours to charge and 8 hours to cool down. Our lithium packs pull a full charge in 1 to 2 hours and can be "opportunity charged" during short 15-minute coffee breaks, enabling continuous multi-shift operations with a single battery.
3x Lifespan: Lead-acid degrades after 1,500 cycles. Our industrial-grade cells deliver over 8000 cycles at 80% DOD, outlasting 5 consecutive lead-acid batteries.
Q7: Industrial environments are harsh, dusty, and prone to extreme vibrations. How does your battery survive on a rough warehouse floor?
Answer: Our batteries are built specifically for industrial abuse, not consumer electronics. We use laser-welded busbars and heavy-duty, internal mechanical cell fixtures to eliminate loose connections caused by continuous, low-frequency floor vibrations. The entire internal layout is shock-insulated, and the rugged steel outer box features an IP65-rated enclosure option to seal out warehouse dust, debris, and moisture—making it ideal for cold storage facilities, grocery warehouses, and rough cross-docking terminals.
Q8: Many of our forklifts operate in cold storage or refrigerated warehouses. Will the 24V lithium battery lose performance or fail to charge in sub-zero temperatures?
Answer: Standard lithium batteries often struggle in the cold, but our industrial 24V packs are engineered for extreme environments. We offer an optional Integrated Thermal Management System with internal heating blankets. When the BMS detects a low-temperature environment during charging, it automatically activates the internal heaters to bring the cells to an optimal temperature before allowing current to flow. This ensures consistent power delivery and safe charging even in temperatures as low as -30°C (-22°F), making it the perfect solution for food and beverage cold chains.
Q9: We have already invested heavily in high-frequency lead-acid chargers. Can we reuse our existing chargers with your 24V lithium packs?
Answer: While our lithium packs perform best with a dedicated LiFePO4 CC/CV charger to reach 100% SOC efficiently, we understand the need to protect your existing infrastructure. Our smart BMS can be configured to accept a charge profile from many high-quality, high-frequency lead-acid chargers, provided they meet specific voltage setpoints. However, for the fastest charging speeds (1-2 hours) and to maximize cycle life, we recommend our matched 24V industrial lithium chargers which communicate directly with the battery to optimize every charging session.
Q10: In long-tail rental or multi-site operations, it’s hard to track how the batteries are being treated. How do you help us monitor battery health and prevent abuse?
Answer: We provide full transparency into your power assets. Our 24V lithium packs come equipped with Cloud-Based Telematics and IoT connectivity. Through a secure mobile app or web dashboard, fleet managers can monitor real-time State of Charge (SOC), cell temperature, cycle count, and even detect "abusive" events like deep discharges or impacts. This data allows you to transition from reactive repairs to predictive maintenance, ensuring your long-tail fleet is always ready for the next shift and extending the overall life of your investment.
